Interjúk Chuckkal és Jeffel
Chuck és Jeff az moszkvai koncert előtt beszéltek a showkról, youtube-ról és Brazíliáról isWhat do you think about the videos of yourselves available on the internet - on YouTube and websites like this one?
Chuck: I think these videos help to promote the band's albums and introduce to the fans new songs that were not divulged yet. On the internet you can find out our interview, audios and videos from live performances – and that's pretty cool. That involve the creativity of our fans and becomes very interesting to be watch! For example, I love to see how our fans looks like in front of their cell phones during the show, then they share it on the internet, and discuss about it.
Jeff: YouTube will always be there, as well the other websites. And the videos from Simple Plan's shows are divulged constantly. It's good when people are interesting to check out videos from our performances. In general – is great to see the fans talking about us, and realize that our music is important to the people. I admire it.
Where happened the best shows? What places every band should perform and where did you have memorable concerts?
Jeff: Oh yeah! A few years ago we went to Brazil for the first time. The brazilian fans are incredible emotional. They are insane and travel with us around the cities. And when we arrived to Brazil this year, in March – they were even crazy. The crowd in Brazil is very expressive.
Chuck: I just can't forget a festival we performed in Quebec, three years ago – there was more than 10.000 people – and that's the best night I can imagine.
What do you think about playing in festivals? What get you involve?
Jeff: Rock In Park and Rock Am Ring in Germany are incredible festivals, we played there three times, and all the shows let us with a good impression. We love the groups that were there, and we had great moments. A lot of music, a lot of rock n' roll, everything we could ask for.
What do you expect from the fans here in Russia?
Jeff: I don't know what to expect. I hope to see them going crazy. Yes, I am curious because that's the first time we come here.
Chuck: Yeah, I hope to see our fans emotional! And we'll talk with the women. (laughs)
Jeff: These drummers! He always do that!

Interjú Sebbel Izraelből & MOTH
Elolvashattok egy interjút Sebbel, amint még az az izraeli Mako magazin készített veleLast year in December, they performed for the fans at Hangar 11, and now they're with Lady GaGa. Sebastien Lefebvre, the guitarist from the pop-punk band Simple Plan, swear that Israel crowd let them excited.
"I remember how much we were surprised to know that Israel crowd knows our songs," recall Sebastien Lefebvre, Simple Plan's guitar player, talking about their first performance in Israel last Decembro at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv, "We hope to feel the same now, especially for the fact of living this experience of being in front of a huge crowds."
Simple Plan is coming back to Israel to the festival Non Stop Musix, that happens in Tel Aviv on August 19th and 20th, which is a lauching project of the cell phone MUSIX by Pelephone company. The event will also have the participation of other artists like Lady GaGa, the pop sensation of last year and the british band Kaiser Chiefs.
"I don't know that much about the event but I heard that Lady GaGa will be there," added Lefebvre, "It's something you can't not know, because her songs are on the radio all the time. Would be cool to meet her, but our main objective is give you a good impression. We were always a kind of live band, this tour started after almost a 3 years break where we were writing new songs and tried a different direction to involve and surprise our fans."
Simple Plan joined in 1999 in Montreal, Canada, and three years later, they released the band's first album that got good comments about it and had about 300 live performance all over the world. Immediately, after these shows, they started working on their second record, well succeded in Europe, especially thanks to the british fans, and they became, officially, internationals, and then they are already performing in many rock festivals worldwide with artists like Avril Lavigne and Green Day.
The members of Simple Plan define their music as pop-punk, a mix of two styles, but Lefebvre don't think there is a contradiction. "We develop punk rock records," explain, "but our melodies looks like pop. We wanted to mix the energy elements of pop-punk. That's what happens on the music scene for the last 20 years. Mix everything already done and create something new."
The first two albums came out one after the other, during some performance across the world. Is it the reason you took three years to finish the third record, that was release last year?
We needed to take a rest, to start working on a new material. We tried to record this new material but then we interrupt it. A lot of things were not ready and we had to start again. The first two records have songs that were playing in all the places for two years, and that pushes you to do something new. Our music is based in simple elements of rock n' roll: two guitars, bass, drum. And then, on the lastet record we worked with new producers, including the rapper Danja, who brought hip hop elements and electronic music.
What do you think about your success in the UK?
We're proud of what we got there, it's a place where we became famous thanks to the people. Even today the radios don't help us and we're criticized by the journalists. Although, the venues for 3.000 or 5.000 are always sold out. This underground scene is cool. We feel like we're a secret that was discovered..
The contemporary musical scene is more difficult in the beginning?
I've never received accusations, because the huge labels become commercial societies, pushing the artists to the limited by musics with no inspiration and with fixed formulas. Turns out were created diverse alternatives to make the artists believe on their music, especially through MySpace and YouTube.
In time where the music lovers use their iPods and pick what they want to hear, you have many ways to create a song directed to a bigger crowd. I believe never had so many people in love all over the world looking for new songs. And that makes a huge competition, and to win this battle you can't just be good. You have to be excellent.
