Épp most tettem fel a Good Night c. számot. Már egy ideje dolgoztam ezen a riffen. Apukám házában ültem a kanapén, amikor az első akkordok összeálltak ,és akkor, egy este, a szavak is jöttek maguktól.

Ez az életem egy nagyon különleges pillanatáról szól.

The band Simple Plan exist since 1999. In 2002, came out the successful No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls, without any support from radio stations or television. How do you explain that?
Pierre: To this quickly evolution of the group, there's only one explanation: a lot dedication and enjoy what you do. That's how we are. And some point we got it.

The group was the only to get a digital certificate since the Brazilian Association Of Record's Producers (ABPD) started to count the digital sells. What do you think about illegal downloads?
Jeff: We don't like the illegal downloads idea. We know people don't do this for bad. But, musicians work so hard on their projects and must get credits for it.

As you know a little bit about Brazil, what do you like the most in the countrie?
Pierre and Jeff: The food, women and the beaches. The women are the most beautiful in the whole word. The food, barbecue is great and caipirinha delicious. The landscapes in are amazing. We had the chance to visit the beaches there in other opportunity and kept it safe with us.

Do you know the most traditional brazilian barbecue is from Rio Grande do Sul?
Pierre: Absolutely. After prove barbecue in Porto Alegre, we realized how much we love it. Other thing the people say to us, is about a tea, the chimarrăo. Today, after the concert, I'll drink it.

It was divulged on a website that you consider the brazilian fans as the craziest. Is that true?
Jeff: Yes. The brazilian fans are the most insane fans, for sure. I don't know explain why. But, every show we perform here, there's a lot energy from the crowd.

Why your fans are pretty much only teenagers?
Pierre: Because the old ones couldn't spend a long time waiting on the line to check out our concert (laughs).

And the question all the fans are waiting for: do you have girlfriends?
Pierre: I have a lot. The other four of us say in Brazil they don't have (laughs).

The band is already on the top of success in a short time. Now, what's the plans for the future?
Pierre: Even with the satisfaction in be where we are in only ten years, we believe its never enough look forward. So, we're always trying to do our best, with dedication to our job to get better and better.

SIMPLE PLAN SUPPORTS THE “FONDATION SOURDINE“

Although they cannot be present at the benefit event “Les Saveurs du théâtre”, that will be held in Quebec City on May 4th, 2009, Simple Plan is proud to support the “Fondation Sourdine”, which aim is to help deaf children in their effort to learn oral language.

The Simple Plan Foundation will donate different promotional items, autographed by all the members of the group to benefit the "Fondation Sourdine" auction fundraiser.

It's not the first time that Simple Plan is implicated in that cause. The group has often been collaborating with Sennheiser to bring a concert experience to hearing impaired children, with the help of a cochlear implant.
