Eternity with Simple Plan

A few hours before Simple Plan's show in Sao Paulo, on March 24th, Yes! Teen had a meeting with the band. Unfortunately due their schedule, everything had to be quickly, so we talked to Pierre and Sebastien for 5 minutes.

And turns out the first words the vocal said were: "Let's make these minutes last forever". Oh! We couldn't talk to Jeff, Chuck or David because they were in a separate room for more interviews.

That's alright! We chatted with Pierre and Seb, had the chance to teach them how to say "churrascaria" and we created the Simple Plan Awards. Check it out!

What's the best part about a worldwide tour?
Seb: Come to Brazil.
Pierre: Travel and meet people and different places.

The fans go crazy when you're around. Can you guys understand something they say?
Seb and Pierre: No...
Pierre: I don't know, sometimes they ask: "Kiss me, please". (both started laughing)

How do you feel when you heard that you're 'everything' on their lives?
Seb: Honored.
Pierre: It shows people can connect themselves to the music. When you're younger, that's part of who you are. When I was their age, I identified myself with music too. I had posters on my wall, sticks in my book and I went to check out the band's I used to like. That's shows who I was.

Did you see the line of fans out there?
Seb: Yes and it's very rewarding live this. I know some people slept for days on this line...

Did you ever imagine someone would do this for you?
Pierre and Seb: Never!

Think about when you started the band. You wanted a lot of things...
Seb: When we started we thought: "One day, we'll sold out an arena". But we never imagine all this madness... See people on the line or sleeping on the streets. That's very special.

Pierre:What's the name of the place where you go to eat barbecue?
Yes! Teen: Churrascaria.
Pierre: oh, obrigado! Chuuu...
Yes! Teen: Chur-ras-ca-ri-a.
Pierre: Chur-ras-ca-ri-a (laughs).
