Simple Plan, one of the favorite bands of Quebec, travelled the whole world before dropping by in Montreal to play on one of the most awaited festival among rock lovers.

The area for the crowd was warmed up by the band Hedley, after which the guys from Simple Plan finally hit the stage, which made a tide of people come closed to the Virgin Mobile stage.

"Make some noise!", shouted Pierre Bouvier, the group's vocalist. "It's so great to play in Montreal", he sais before the show started.

After 6 months of being far away from Montreal, Sébastien Lefebvre, Jeff Stinco, David Desrosiers, Chuck Comeau and Pierre Bouvier started their performance, while the crowd was screaming and applauding.

They came up with hits from 2004 like Shut Up! and Jump, putting hands in the air.

They also played When I'm Gone, Addidcted, Your Love Is A Lie, Welcome To My Life and other very successful parts of the bands' soundtrack, who is working on their 4th album.

Pierre and his friends also did a rock version of Here We Are Now Entertainers by Nirvana. An interesting remake... A medley including Right Round, Poker Face and Just Dance had an amazing effect.

One lucky fan will have a great story to tell when she comes home, because Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau chose one fan to come on the stage and take a picture with them.

According to the bands' frontman it's gonna be a landmark in this girls' life.
